Foyer and Sitting Room
Venetian plaster faux finishes are becoming one of the more popular design elements. Venetian plaster looks great in dining rooms, kitchens, baths, foyers and even on columns. It is a look that can also work very well in commercial settings.

Veined Wall Effect
Faux finishes originated in the 18th & 19th centuries at a time when the wealthy commissioned artisans to reproduce exotic surfaces, such as rare mahogany, marble, and gold leaf.

A popular faux finish creates a veined wall effect, like that shown left.

Faux finished walls are often rich with gold as the primary color and are textured for a vintage look, as shown at right.

Faux Tile Border
What tops a faux wall but a tile border? At left is a very elegant look that lifts the faux surface ten fold with this beautiful and decorative tile. We have an excellent resource who will work magic with your walls and floors.

At right, "Faux Goes Squared." You can have this very subtle but elegant look. Why stop at squares? Try circles or other geometric shapes.
